At Walser Auto Campus, the community is at the heart of everything we do. As the leaves begin to turn and we look forward to the air getting a bit cooler, we’re gearing up for a season full of events that bring us all together. We’re thrilled to be part of some of Wichita’s most anticipated happenings this fall, and we hope to see you there!

Kickoff Event: BMW of Wichita at Zoobilee – Saturday, September 7th

We’re starting September with a roar as BMW of Wichita sponsors the Sedgwick County Zoo’s Zoobilee! Known as Wichita’s wildest FUN-raiser, Zoobilee promises a night of live music, tasty drinks, and delicious bites from local establishments. It’s an evening where the community comes together to support the zoo, all while enjoying the company of friends and neighbors. Join us from 6 PM to midnight for an unforgettable night under the stars!

Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair – September 13th-15th

Next, we’re celebrating creativity at Wichita Festivals’ Autumn & Art at Bradley Fair. Walser Auto Campus is proud to sponsor this premier al fresco art show, where artists from across the U.S. showcase their work in a vibrant outdoor setting. Stroll through Bradley Fair and immerse yourself in the creative spirit of our community. This free event is open from 6 PM to 9 PM on Friday, continues on Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and wraps up on Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM. Don’t miss the chance to see over 100 artists display their masterpieces!

Exploration Place Drone Light Festival – September 20th-22nd

Prepare to be amazed at the Exploration Place Drone Light Festival, a family-friendly event where technology meets art. This year’s festival marks the grand opening of the new Wichita Foundation Amphitheater and a state-of-the-art event plaza. Watch in awe as 300 synchronized drones light up the night sky with music-choreographed formations. Plus, new custom displays will be featured alongside returning favorites. Don’t forget to decorate and launch your own floating water lantern and enjoy the glow of a magical candlelight concert. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss!

ICT ALL German Car Show – Saturday, September 28th

For car enthusiasts, the ICT ALL German Car Show is a must-attend event. Starting at 11 AM at WSU Tech’s National Center for Aviation, this show celebrates German automotive excellence. Walser Auto Campus is the proud title sponsor, and we’ve provided exceptional Best of Show prizes for each marque, as well as the Walser All German Club Cup, awarded to the club with the most cars in attendance. Whether you’re a car lover or just curious, come out and admire the precision and beauty of German engineering.

Wagonmasters Chili Cookoff – Saturday, September 28th

Spice things up at the Wagonmasters Chili Cookoff in Naftzger Park! This beloved Wichita event is back and better than ever. Beer sales start at 10 AM, and the chili tasting begins at noon. For just $5, you can get a tasting kit that includes a bowl of the Wagonmasters’ world-famous chili. Feeling brave? Enter the Pepper Eating Contest for a chance to win $500! There’s something for everyone, with inflatables in the Kids Zone, a 50/50 raffle, live music from Epic, and more. All proceeds go to the Good Life Grants, making this a fun and charitable way to spend your Saturday.

Woofstock at Sedgwick County Park – October

As we roll into October, BMW of Wichita is excited to be a sponsor for Woofstock at Sedgwick County Park. This Kansas Humane Society fundraising event and festival has become one of the largest pet-friendly events in the Midwest. Bring your furry friends and enjoy a day filled with activities, including the Woof Walk & Breakfast, live music, stage contests, vendor booths, food trucks, ruff races, a doggy agility course, and more! It’s the perfect day out for pet owners and animal lovers alike.

Annual Trunk or Treat at Walser Auto Campus – Saturday, October 19th

Our fall festivities culminate in our Annual Trunk or Treat event at Walser Auto Campus. On October 19th from 11 am-1 pm, community organizations will come together to decorate their trunks for a spooktacular day of Halloween fun. Ghouls, goblins, and princesses are all invited to vote for their favorite trunks, and prizes will be awarded: $1,000 for 1st Place, $500 for 2nd Place, and $250 for 3rd Place. Prizes can be donated to your school club or a local charity of your choice. It’s a fun-filled event for the whole family and a great way to give back to the community.
