Shop for a Cause 2024: Walser Auto Campus’ Commitment to Community

Shop for a Cause 2024 was our biggest year yet, reflecting the Walser Auto Campus’ dedication to giving back to our community. Each June, we host this special campaign, where $25 from every car sold is donated to local organizations chosen by our staff. This year, we proudly supported three outstanding organizations: Assistance League of Wichita, Rainbows United, and Home Base Wichita. Here’s a closer look at their missions and the significant impact they have on our community.

Assistance League of Wichita: $1,900 Raised
The Assistance League of Wichita is an exceptional organization making a substantial difference in the lives of those they serve. Through community volunteering and their community thrift store, they raise funds to provide essential clothing and other needs to underprivileged children and victims of assault and domestic abuse. Their various initiatives foster a stronger, more supportive community. Rainbows United: $5,075 Raised
Rainbows United, an organization we have proudly partnered with in the past, is dedicated to providing care and resources to children with special needs and their families. Their comprehensive support system includes early intervention, specialized therapies, and family support services, ensuring that children with special needs receive the care and attention they deserve. Home Base Wichita: $3,175 Raised
Home Base Wichita is a remarkable veteran organization that helps newly discharged military members transition back to civilian life. They offer job readiness programs, career resources, and support services for military spouses re-entering the workforce after years of transitions and relocations. Walser Auto Campus’ Drive to Give Back
The organizations supported through Shop for a Cause are selected annually by Walser Auto Campus staff members who have witnessed the impact of these wonderful organizations firsthand or seen the positive changes they bring to others. During the month of June, each customer has the opportunity to direct $25 from their car purchase to the cause of their choice, amplifying the community’s collective impact.
