Waddle with Women of Walser

This weekend, the Women of Walser organized a special event at MINI of Wichita that brought smiles, curiosity, and a touch of wildlife magic to all attendees. The highlight of the day was the presence of two charming guests from Tanganyika Wildlife Park – OG The Penguin and Sir Quilliam the Porcupine.

Children and adults alike were treated to an up-close and personal experience with these lovely creatures. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as attendees had the opportunity to touch the animals and engage with the knowledgeable Tanganyika staff, asking questions about the wildlife and their habits.

OG The Penguin stole the show with a unique talent – painting with her feet! It was truly entertaining to witness her artistic skills guided by the Tanganyika team. The masterpiece created by OG, as part of the Perfect Penguin Package, will be raffled off to those who generously donate to Tanganyika, helping fulfill the park’s winter wishlist.

The event wasn’t just about critters; it was a holistic experience. Attendees enjoyed a delightful spread of hot cocoa, cookies, cupcakes, and cake balls. The festivities also included coloring sheets for the young artists and a lively photo booth adorned with penguin-themed props.

Beyond the joyous occasion, the Women of Walser, in collaboration with Tanganyika Wildlife Park, aimed to create a meaningful impact. The raffle serves as an opportunity for the community to contribute to Tanganyika’s noble cause and support the welfare of the park’s diverse animal residents.
