Walser Auto Campus Supports Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas

This past Saturday was a day of excitement and empowerment as Walser Auto Campus proudly joined hands as sponsors and volunteers for the Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas – Brews, Clues, and Running Shoes event. This engaging event, inspired by the popular Amazing Race, brought together teams of four to solve clues and conquer checkpoints scattered across downtown Wichita.
The enthusiasm was palpable as participants navigated through challenges, showcasing teamwork, problem-solving skills, and determination. What made this event even more special was knowing that every step taken and every clue cracked contributed directly to the betterment of Girls on the Run Heart of Kansas.

Girls on the Run is more than just a program; it’s a transformative experience for young girls, instilling in them crucial life skills like emotional management, conflict resolution, empathy, and decision-making. With an annual reach of over 800 girls in Kansas and a positive impact on over 10,000 girls since 2011, Girls on the Run creates a nurturing environment where girls can flourish and discover their true strengths and capabilities.

The support from events like Brews, Clues, and Running Shoes not only provides financial assistance but also offers girls acceptance, connection with peers, confidence building, and a sense of belonging. Walser Auto Campus is honored to be part of such a meaningful initiative that empowers and uplifts young girls, helping them grow into confident and resilient individuals.
