Originally launched in 2016 as a fundraiser for Tori Deatherage’s Woman of the Year campaign for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Wine About Cancer has evolved into an annual tradition. Despite skipping 2020 due to the pandemic, the event continues to support the Mid-America Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, as well as Survivor 2.0. This local nonprofit, providing free programs to cancer survivors, holds a poignant significance, honoring Tori’s late mother, Deanna.
